Results

We ask you to take responsibility for contacting the surgery regarding your own results.

Please call 01954 260230 and select option 2 to speak with a receptionist.

Please allow at least 72 hours from the time the test was taken before calling the surgery for your results. Some results may take longer to return from the lab, depending on the type of test.

Please phone for results after 11am whenever possible to avoid peak times on the telephone, and give the doctors time to review your results.

Specimens

To be handed to the Nurse or placed in the collection box each day of the week, before 3pm for delivery to the laboratory.

Please label all specimens clearly with your name, DOB and the date.

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.).
• Insurance claim forms.
• Passport signing.
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad.
• Private sick notes.
• Vaccination certificates.

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability. 

Advice & Vaccinations. Please book your appointment a minimum of six weeks prior to travel if possible as some vaccinations involve courses of several injections to give you complete cover.

Please do not make these appointments using patient online. 

Mole & toe nail removal, Sigmoidoscopy, Implants, Cortisone Injection.

Supporting you to give up smoking.

Immunisations, 6 weeks baby checks.

Including emergency contraception.

Assessments for Hearing, ECG’s, Flow Rate, Spirometry.
