Phlebotomy Appointments

• Important Message from Cambridge University Hospitals – Temporary reduction in phlebotomy provision at Newmarket Road Park and Ride from Monday 23 June 2025

We would like to advise that essential work will shortly be undertaken at the Newmarket Road park and ride phlebotomy site. The improvements will give a better patient experience whilst using the service.

In order to dismantle the current set-up and erect the new structure the service will need to work from a temporary provision. Unfortunately, this will mean a significant reduction to its current capacity and the service anticipates that this will lead to increased waiting times of four hours or more.

We therefore kindly ask that where possible alternative arrangements are considered to help minimise the wait times for patients. The Ely Community Diagnostic Centre has pre-bookable phlebotomy appointments available, which can be booked online using the following link.
