MEETING CANCELLED – WEDS 14TH SEPTEMBER

The Patient Group Meeting on the 14th September has now been CANCELLED.

Mr Tom Cowley, chair of the PPG has submitted the following statement:

“After many years as Chairman, I have decided to retire, I therefore withdraw my nomination for Chairman. I would like to thank all those patients and staff at the surgery who have supported me over the years.

The post has not been onerous and the people I have met have enriched my life. The position has always been one of co-operation and I hope the new Chairman carries on with that tradition.

There has only been one person nominated for Chair and that is Mr Chris Thornhill therefore an election is not needed. It has been decided to defer the next meeting until Mr Thornhill can be present, and a new date will be published in due course.
